I recently tried to sign in to my account with my only password i have ever used for this account and it didnt work, tried to verify it with security questions, that didnt work, what do i do now?

Its a pity that many users don’t know how to login with 2FA via Microsoft App Authenticator! You even can login without a password!
Best thing is to use a ONLY Mail account just for Microsoft and nothing else!
I did this and got never ever a message about unsuccessful attempts.
It’s impossible for a hacker to login to your account when your mail address is unknown
