#broken controller bumpers

I tried fixing the right bumper by putting rubbing alcohol the inside of the control and it worked fine for around 5 hours before I wasn’t able to press the far end of the bumper and only an hour later had to apply the force of my hand to get it to activate I put a little more on the next day and the same thing happened
What should I do
