#my xbox series x wont show any wifi connections until i restart it

context: when i go to connect to my wifi it doesnt show any connections avaliable and if it does it fails to connect. it says unplug ur router or motem for 30 seconds and try again but it doesnt work. someone help please

i have to restart my xbox everytime i try to connect to the wifi and it doesnt sound bad but its really annoying and its been happening for like 3 months now

Depends on the range of your XBox to your Router. Maybe the signal has weakened over the past couple of months! There have to be no walls or other things that could block the signal!
Try to connect it via cable if possible, that’s the best and stable solution you’ll find!

Are you an Xbox Insider by any chance? I’m having a similar issue, doesn’t happen every time, but when it does I have to restart my Xbox to connect online. I thought it was just a bug with being an Insider.

Then estimate it. More than 10 meters away is not good for WiFi reception! 2.4 GHz is for long distances but many also use this frequency so there can be interference. The 5GHZ network, on the other hand, is intended for short distances and is quite stable!
