I recently purchased an hdmi extractor (OREI HDA-912) so that I could recapture the sound quality I lost from my Astro A40's (4th gen) with the tr mix amp when the Xbox did away with the optical port (I own an Xbox Series S). I tried it out yesterday and the sound quality was AWESOME! I could hear footsteps clear as a bell! Everything sound nice and crisp! The only problem was I couldn't hear my teammates when they were talking to me (was playing ARMA Reforger). They could hear me but I couldn't hear them at all. I disconnected everything and put it back to just using the standard usb cable and I could hear everyone talking again. Could someone please help me with this problem, please? I need to know if I got a bad extractor on or if I am missing a setting or something. Thank you in advance for your help.
