I was able to connect it some time ago, and after a while of not using it now it doesn't want to connect

I also installed the drivers
The only confusion I had with the drivers was that It had a 2.0 version and a 10.0 version

then something is likley busted try using a other 360 controller if you can get one to see if its a controller or adapter issue. Or test the controller connecting to a other supported device. Then replace the busted device
