So basically I used to have a Xbox one account and let’s say that I bought live under account a of that account but below that in add accounts I made another one for someone else to play on, account B, both could access live. I got a new Xbox series X and added Xbox account a to it but when I was trying to play on the new Xbox on account A and someone was playing with the old one on account B, I got a error saying “your playing someone else, close there game or cancel” but they are under different accounts? My new Xbox is the home Xbox

Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

You need to make sure you’re not signed in with account A on both consoles, it doesn’t matter who’s specifically playing.

#

I’m assuming because you have live in account A and account A’s home console is the new one that account A is signed into the old console to let B use Live.

#

If you want B to use A’s Live without A being signed in, the B needs to be playing on A’s Home Xbox

You don’t have to remove it, just make sure it’s not signed in
