Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
Orange light means the brick is getting power so the issue is with the console itself.
Damnnnnn, I’m gutted. It’s a few days away from the store getting closed down and I was planning on buying some DLC for non-backwards compatible games before it’s gone forever😅
Thanks for clearing that up anyway, it’s what I thought myself after looking at forums online but I just wanted to double check. I don’t suppose you know if it’s due to a common issue that can be fixed? I will just take it to a repair shop if so👍🏻
It could be a number of things that can not be discussed here as per rule12
#rules 🚨 12. Certain topics are not appropriate for discussion, such as: game sharing outside of your household, self-repair and disassembly of hardware, piracy, emulation, violating Xbox policies or Terms of Service, explicit material, not-safe-for-work topics, discussion of leaks, and questionable or illegal activities. Other topics are subject to moderator discretion.
NOTE: Even though Xbox is offering controller repair kits for sale now, self-repair discussion in this server beyond linking to said kits is still not allowed. Self-repair requires a moderate level of skill and knowledge to do and any errors in doing self-repair can result in damage that is not covered under any warranty. If you have questions that are not answered by the guides linked off the controller parts pages in the store, you likely do not posses the skills or knowledge for performing the self-repair and should seek out a repair shop to perform your repair.
Ah no worries, sorry about that. Thanks for your insight anyway👍🏻
Hi did you fix it? I’m also having issues I turned on my Xbox yesterday to look at the store and buy some stuff for the last time
buy a replacement on amazon
Like the power brick?
No sorry, I ended up buying a new console
Damn hope it was worth it instead you could have bought a power brick 😂
Lucky mf I couldn’t even go and look at the marketplace for the very last time
💔
The APU was completely dead. It made more sense to buy a new one than to get it repaired.
Sorry to hear that!
How do I know if mines dead
Alright thanks!
And one more question it’s off topic but
I’m planning to buy an Xbox one
But I had already bought Xbox live on my 360 console
Will I still have Xbox live on my Xbox?
yes
By logging into my account yes?
yes. subscriptions are tied to your account not to a specific console
