What have you tried
resetting my xbox and internet box many times for extended amount of times
i’ve factory reset my xbox thinking it would work and still no resolution
WiFi or cables Ethernet
WiFi
Try a cable
WiFi = bad.
i want to play a xbox without having to worry about having a wire running thru one room to another
like it’s supposed to be able to
Okay but you have to trouble shoot
Sometimes you have to temporarily do things while trying to figure out what is busted
wifi has also been the method i’ve used since 360
And since then, 10x+ the devices have been added to households.
yea but also first time this has happened to me
Ovens, slow cookers, lights etc.
Yes we are trying to help you
Using a cable is a critical step in figuring out network issues
but a cable from one room to another is a little overboard to play for a few hours a week
It is a temporary troubleshooting step
it isnt, all my Xboxes have Ethernet to not be on the congested Wifi bands.
if it doesn’t work tomorrow then i’ll try but i’ll wait for now and see if it’s my internet acting up
even though it’s working for everything else
What is your network like? How many devices are on wifi?
What wifi devices do your neighbors have?
right now there is 4 and i don’t know
what do you mean what is my network like?
Router to switches to wifi devices, you should know the full network map
And you say there are 4 devices on wifi? I would guess there are 4-5x that
currently yes
how would you guess that ?
no google mini? Amazon?
nope
Smart plugs
nope
most people forget they add things to their wifi
Steps to try, try wired, try moving closer to the wifi.
it’s in the room beside it they are less then 20 feet from each other and just a thin wall apart
Other steps would be shut down all other devices
is it’s just shutting off everyday at 10;01 i guess
internet just quit working again
that sounds a lot like some part of your home network equipment is doing a scheduled reboot - your cable/dsl modem if you have one, your wifi router, a mesh antenna....
