#Issues with a game I own

I bought my xbox one s many years ago (not sure exactly) second hand and it came with minecraft.
For years I was able to play minecraft without the need of xbox live (solo obviously).

But, ever since like xbox live and xbox gamepass has been merged into one I can longer play minecraft AT ALL and I uninstalled it to try see if reinstalling would help and now I apparently no longer own it at all?

It’s one of the very few games I play and I’m very upset as I’ve not had an issue like this before the merge of the two subscriptions and if anyone has any idea on how to fix this issue or atleast know an idea of what may have happened I’d be so grateful.

And yes I know I would have had plenty of time to figure that I had this problem but I haven’t been on xbox for a while due to personal problems. And no, I do not have the money to pay for gamepass until I can find a job.

What do you mean the console came with Minecraft? Did it come with a disc, or a 5x5 token to redeem?

Otherwise it sounds like it had the game preinstalled on it with someone else's Home Xbox entitlement. If you changed consoles, or factory reset the console, or that person changed their Home Xbox to a different console, you would lose access.

It wasn’t with a disc but with the xbox it came part with minecraft like on the box it had a bit of minecraft on it and when I had the xbox installed in Minecraft was already on there I believe. And I’m not sure if someone actually used it or not my mum said she bought it second hand but the box looked very clean and the xbox looked untouched and nothing like this has happened in the many years I’ve had it
