xbox party chat is not working ive tried resetting the app and also repairing it evertime i join the party chat it cancels out all audio.

yeah the icon highlights they cant hear me either

also all pc audio is muted as well

its only when i join xbox game bars party chat though

all other apps are completely fine

Windows has two "default" audio devices. A default for.. Well.. Default things, like notifications, music, videos, games, etc. And then there is a default for Communication. I'd ensure those are set correctly in your sound settings.

to get my audio working again i need to terminate the process in task manager or settings

I think this is related to how Windows treats Bluetooth devices. I believe I've experienced this exact same issue before 😦 unfortunately I had a really hacky solution for it

I had to install some 3rd party drivers :/ I'll see if I can find the software
