#Minecraft Owned but not Working

So I finally booted up my old Xbox One S after like 4 years and Im trying to get back into minecraft. Ive updated it over and over again but whenever I try and open it, it says I dont own the game, even though the game literally came with the console. Any tips? I just want to get back on my old worlds and use this as my main console.

After I try and boot up the game, it also says it has an update, so i update it but it takes no time at all and still doesnt allow me to play. It does this every time i try and open it.

If it was a digital copy, the game would have been redeemed to play. Either the account that redeemed is no longer on the console, or the account is no longer game sharing to that console.

I’m assuming you’re talking about Minecraft Xbox One edition. That’s not on GP and game is delisted. If you want to play that edition, you will need a hard copy or an account with the game.
