#Wi-Fi and Ethernet disconnect from Xbox

I've suffered from the same problem for the past 4 years.

I have an AT&T BGW210-700, and get 350-400 Mbps (15-35 MB/s), I've opened my ports and put a static IP, so I'm just not sure what else I can do.

Troubleshoots:
Resetting Router: works every 3 out of 10 times
Clearing MAC Address: works almost never
IP Allocation: Works but only for 10 minutes
Opened Ports: Works, but still ends up in a disconnect later on
Static IP: same as Opened Ports

Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

how do i check if it is

true flower
#

login to ur router and it should be on the first page

#

or in settings

#

if you can't find that or it doesn't work try this

#

Go to Settings < Network < Network Settings.

Choose Advanced Settings < DNS Settings < Then Manual.

For Primary IPv4 DNS please enter: 1.1.1.1

For Secondary IPv4 DNS please enter: 1.0.0.1

Once that happens, hold the power button on the Xbox console for 10 seconds and power it back on

#

my guess is that it's a issue with AT&T but only because I've found multiple complaints about it on forums and reddit
