Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
Your games don't auto-install, you have to manually pick the ones oyu want on your computer.
There is probably a list in teh Xbox app on your pc but I'm not sitting by one at the moment. You can certainly find them through your order history though https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/billing-payment-updates/check-xbox-purchase-history
Are you trying to transfer games you played on console to PC?
you need to give context on your issue/question
i bought stardew valley on my old computer now i bought new pc connected my account but i cant see stardew it say i didnt bought game, i cant see the game on my purchase history too @full talon

Becuase the only one I see in teh xbox store is the console version. The PC version appears to be through Steam

the top one is xbox only and the other one is PC only
so it seems you brought the xbox version but you can sign in and check. If you brought the PC version it will show in the xbox app under your games on your new PC. Or you can sign in on the linl
i just dowlanded xbox pc and bought
do either of those two links show that you own the game?
some games are play anywhere meaning there is only one game for both pc and xbox but that game isnt,
let me try
note that stardew valley is availalbe throuhg a lot of stores, including steam, humble bundles, and gog, for windows. Triple-check which place you actually bought it from if neither of those two xbox.com links shows that you've purcahsed it
i think this one
so it shows owned when you sign in
there isn't a lot of thinking lol.
that page either says you've bought it or it gives you the option to buy it
and that first link is the xbox console-only version, so if that is the one that says you own it then that's not gonna install on your PC
okay, but does the link actually say you own it that's what I'm asking. there is literally zero guessing involved, the button either says 'install' or 'buy'
okay, then you either
- didn't buy it through the xbox store
- bought it with a different account than the one you're currently logged in as
it is almost impossible for microsoft to "forget" that you own something. The purchase history system has been tested extensively over decades.
If you do have a proof of purchase email, and it does say it belongs to the account that you are currently logged in as, then you'll have to contact official support to figure out why it is gone
okay but i looked my card history
its gone
not the microsoft store
the game is gone in my own card history
is that tyler durden
i don't know what your card history is.
please look through your microsoft account purchase history if you believe that you purchased the game from microsoft https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/billing-payment-updates/check-xbox-purchase-history
if you see it in your purchase history then you did buy it from microsoft adn you should be able to install it.
if you see it, but are being asked to pay again, contact official support for assistance with your purchase
i cant see it
if you do not see it in your account purchase history, then 99.999% you didn't actually buy it from microsoft, but instead you got it from like steam or humble bundle or something and need to find it there
achievements does not mean you own it, it just means youi played it
you could have played it by a friend having it, by it being on a free play weekend, by it being on game pass (which it is) etc
at this point, I strongly suggest contacting microsoft support for assistance since you are 100% positive that you did not purchase the game through a different store
the game has been on gamepass
yes, it currently is
is there a link for the support
