One night, I was watching YouTube on my Xbox. it was getting late so I decided to turn it off for the night. When I woke up the next morning, happy to play some games, it just didn't display. the console turned on but the TV said no signal. My hdmi ports don't look broken at all and my Xbox wasn't having any performance issues. Just stopped out of nowhere. I've tried low res, I've tried soft resets, and I've tried different screens/cables. none of them worked. am I screwed? no warranty and a repair/buying a used console is out of my budget rn
#xbox display stopped working overnight

Have you tried ona different tv or monitor?
yes I have. most of the solutions you can find on Google I've tried. it just makes no sense to me
if you xbox does not work with any cable on any tv and you've done all these steps, then the last step is the only one I suppose: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/display-sound/tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected
yeah I've checked that as well and the only tab that matches my situation I've already tried
I'm just not giving up because it makes absolutely no sense for it to give out for no reason with no problems beforehand
So you tried "reset your display settings" which is mentioned on there?
Also have you tried another HDMI cable? I know you said you tried most of the solutions on Google, but lets be specific about that one.
OK fair. And the reset settings thing? With holding the buttons?
I've tried both the thing where you hold power and sync, and the one with power and eject
the hdmi port still looks fairly clean. if there was damage on it I'd prolly need a giant magnifying glass to see it
Sorry I can't suggest anything better, but I will say that reset settings thing has helped me before now.
Wish it would've helped you.
I wish it could've too. I'm just so stumped by the situation
cause I got a 360 and ps3 that run like the wind
rip your console. sucks because it's harder to find the actual issue w the circumstances. I'm still hoping for a solution but it's been like this for 2 years
