youtube tutorials aren’t helping me. I put the first disc in but the downloading keeps stopping… is it a network issue or am i doing something wrong? i feel like it might have something to do with the double disc game factor since it is my first time having one

It has nothing to do with it being a 2-disc game. Your disc is probably damaged.
You can get around this by cancelling the install, and then using the mobile app or website to "Install To..." your console.
You can do this without buying the digital version of the game.
Then once that internet install finishes, you can use the disc to launch the game.

thanks, just for clarification it did download but only 0.8% and then it stopped, every time i resume it it tries and then stops again.
