cant use game bar parties

For some reason on my computer i cant use the game bar parties, when I join one it says both people are disconnected and eventually disconnects me. When I make my own I cant talk and when someone joins sometimes they stay or it kicks me out but either way they can't hear me
I tried switching the mic on and off, disabling and enabling background app permissions. And I tried a method where you make an inbound rule in the control center.
