Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
I searched couldn’t find anything and i tried restarting xbox and cutting internet.
Are your DHCP and DNS settings set to automatic?
^
DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol - It's communication between your device and your router which automatically configures itself on the network to get an IP address, etc.
the fact that your IP gateway is 0.0.0.0, means something is wrong for sure.
how do i check this?
is there a fix?
I'm not near my Xbox, but in the network settings there should be something about DHCP and DNS. Ensure they are set to automatic instead of manual
okay
IP Settings -> ensure automatic
aight bet
maybe in the Advanced settings, if I remember correctly
dyk if there is a fix for the gateway? tried searching but nothing came up
*do you know
gateway of 0.0.0.0 means your xbox could not have the appropriate conversation with your router to get an IP address assigned to it
Wifi or wired?
^
You may want to restart your router
if you've ensure all the network settings on your xbox are set to automatic
restart u mean by unplugging?
