Xbox one S controller not taking my wired pulse 3d headset microphone input so i can hear others with the headphone but others can't hear me nor can i hear myself when i test it under microphone monitoring. i made sure the party chat wasn't muted or switched to game chat, my xbox controller is working and updated to the latest firmware, my headset audio jack is clean and plugged with the appropriate wire( being 3.5mm) and the headset was working really well with the microphone but recently the microphone just stopped taking input from my voice so all i can do with it is just hear. i also tried switching controllers to see if that was the issue but it showed the same result. i thought it was a headset issue so i used another pulse 3d headset ( brand new) and it showed the same thing. i attempted every method i saw online, even restarting/rebooting the console or changing the headset format, still showed the same thing, i don't think its hardware issue because for a long time my headset mic on my pulse 3d headset worrked really well with my headphones. the closest i can think of is the wire itself being faulty.
