So im trying to join hypixel on minecraft but it's not even connecting and says connection error i just purchased minecraft today for that sole reason to play on hypixel but it isn't working it gives me an error of getsockopt and doesn't connect to hypixel or show me my ping on hypixel i tried getting support on minecraft's official discord and no positive response any idea why im facing connection issues even tho my internet is perfectly fine and the other minecraft servers work fine on my pc? And when i try to play on 1.8.9 it gives me the error "java.net.ConnectException: Connection Timed Out: no further information"

i recently purchased minecraft like 2 days ago so i get both bedrock and java but i play java only
But still i am unable to play hypixel even 1.20+ or below
when i try 1.20+ it gives the error getsockopt
