Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
i mean what is a common issue? If your asking does it happen to others then yes. Anything can fail and break.
a common issue is an issue that happens commonly
lol
the point is the question isn't relevant you know it needs replacing.
i meant like is it a well known thing that happens
i want to know what needs replacing lol
okay but you didnt ask that
you would need to try a other power brick on the console if that workes then the power brick needs replacing. If it does not then the console needs replacing
why do u even reply i didn’t meticulously word it i get it
it’s not the brick and ideally i’d like to find out what happened because other than that it works fine
and it’s going to cost like £250 to replace
if you tested the brick and worked out its the console. Then that could be many differnt reasons on whats caused it. Only way to find out would be to send it for repair.
and yes it likley will cost around that
ah yeah fair enough, it’s an old xbox one but i’ll have ago repairing it myself
I wouldnt advise that personally you need to just cut your loses and buy a new console or a refurb one.
ill be cutting my losses either way but yes i get these are designed to be thrown away and replaced needlessly
well that console would be about 10 years old so that isnt the case at all. Buy the time you got the tools needed to repair it you would have spent the cost of a reburb console. Not to mention if you do not know what your doing you could cause a fire hazard dealing with electronics
i already have all the tools i repair laptops
ive only opened a few xboxes though and they were 360s
so not really sure where to start with this one
