Issue: Microphone not being audible to certain apps.
Console: Xbox One.
Headset: Turtle Beach Gen 2 Max Stealth 700.
Description: I have an issue where my microphone works only on certain apps on my Xbox One such being able to search with microphone on YouTube or being able to send voice messages to players on Xbox Chat. It all just started on Monday midnight and I couldn’t use VC at all. While on games, my microphone is completely inaudible, such as Warzone 3 or Fortnite, it will not let me you voice chat to communicate with my teammates and neither can I hear myself either when I am testing the microphone .It just started on Monday midnight and I couldn’t use VC at all. I am assuming that it may be a Xbox issue or I might to install an update to the game or my Xbox One it’s self.
Methods I have tried that have failed:
-Unplugging everything and plugging it back in.
-Unplugging the USB transmitter from the headset.
—Powering on and off the headset.
Clearing WiFi Mac Address.
-Emailing Turtle Beach (No help)
-DMing Call of Duty Discord (No Help)
-Looking up videos on YouTube
-Checking Communication and multiplayer settings:
You can join multiplayer games, allow
You can join cross-network play, allow
Other can communicate with voice, text or invites, everybody
You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice and text, everybody
