So basically my Xbox series s controller has completely stopped working, it used to work fine up until like a week ago when it started to only work with a cable connected. It was fine until a few days ago when it just completely became unresponsive. I tried all that I could, I swapped out the batteries, I plugged it in directly to the console with a cable I KNOW 100% works, and it is still dead 😞.
So, I swapped to my second controller, which is and older Xbox one controller, and the same thing is beginning to happen again... Right now it's only working when it's plugged in, and I tried absolutely everything to get it to work normally again: I changed the batteries, plugged it in directly into the console with a working cable, I checked for updates (the controller is up to date), I did MULTIPLE power cycles, I reset my Xbox, I turned off my Xbox and unplugged it for a few minutes, I tried EVERYTHING. Nothing worked. 😢.
