I bought the talos principle 2, and it never told me that it was for the Xbox series x. Or higher. So when I bought it, I was so happy. And the moment I tried to play it, the message: “this cannot be played on this device.” Left me in tears, it’s been about 7 months since. And I was wondering if I could have a refund

If it's been 7 months, no. You can't claim a refund. You can only request one within 14 days of purchase.

Plus refunds can only possibly be issued if the game is brought less than 14 days at the time of the request and 2 hours or less play time
