I have a question, when converting game pass core to ultimate, does it force you to use a credit card?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

This would have been better left in the Game Pass channel where you posted it originally, but never mind.

If you are purchasing the Game Pass directly from Microsoft then you would need a payment method on the account. Either a credit/debit card, or PayPal. Other options may be available in different countries.

If you are using a Game Pass Ultimate gift card purchased from a store, then you don't need a payment method on the account.
