So a friend of mine is from another country, which is supported by Xbox, and he wants to family share his game pass subscription with me, can I play use his subscription despite being from an unsupported region (Romania). I remember hearing somewhere that it works like that, but I'm just not allowed to buy a subscription.

If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
