Im trying to make an alt account and when i go to type the gamertag i want knowing its not taken or anything it still adds numbers. Why is that? i even checked on my main and it doesnt add the numbers so why only on the alt?

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean that tag isn't taken.

for example on my main i go to change gt and type it in and it doesnt add numbers but then i go to the alt and put the same gt and it adds numbers
