Imagine, I’m calibrating my Xbox controller and with the right stick left stick in position fully minted no stick drift on screen the right stick keeps showing it’s being lifted upwards even when I flick it down it’ll go back up as showing on the screen but the controller physically looks minted no stick drift

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

It doesn’t make sense tho stick drift you can physically notice your self that the controller is mad loose flicking the stick

No that is not necessarily true. It is not necessary to be able to see the controller moved to have drift.

#

“The computer thinks it is moving when not touching it” is literally drifting

You reckon my local phone or repair tech shop can do it?

U could but at ur own risk if they mess it up

#

Also send it back to a replacement if u still have it under warranty

by all that time you probably spent the cost of a new controller. Controllers go though alot and wear down. They need replacing

Honestly the repair process let me down mainly because it didn’t update the status on the website but ups updated me when they’re sending the parcel back😂🤦‍♂️ when I got that email I knew it’s coming back but to only find out if it’s been approved for warranty and so on or not
