My xbox one x and my tv are located in seperate rooms (HDMI running through the wall). My controller does'nt loose connectivity when playing but it clearly has a hard time keeping the connection as there is high latency of atleast 500-700 milliseconds. Is there any way I can reduce the input lag?

I don't think you'll be able to get a good wireless connection through that kind of range. Maybe try a long USB cable, run it through the wall as well and play with the controller wired. That should work.
