Hey everyone,
I am writing to make a complaint regarding an error that has occurred since a recent system update on my Xbox Series S.
Ever since the update was automatically installed in late April to early May, I have been experiencing issues with saving recorded clips and gameplays to my USB external drive or Internal Storage.
Whenever I try to save a video, whether it be a few seconds, 4mins, 10 minutes or 60 minutes long, I receive an error message stating that the video could not be saved to the USB drive or the consoles storage.
When I go to the capture app, a little circle constantly rotates, never showing the contents I have saved.
This issue has been ongoing throughout the entire month of May and has become increasingly frustrating as I rely on this feature to capture and save my gaming memories.
After researching online, I have discovered that I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Many other Xbox users have reported the same problem and have no clue what to do next.
From my perspective, it seems that this issue is directly related to the recent system update, as many users started experiencing this problem after the update was installed.
I have already tried all troubleshooting steps recommended by Xbox Support, including resetting settings and formatting the USB drive. I had my console checked by console cleaners and fixers, my device came out intact and no damages. I have even purchased two different external drives (one USB and one Seagate) in an attempt to solve the issue, but the problem still persists.
I believe that the recent system update has caused a bug or glitch that is preventing videos from being saved to external drives. I kindly request that anyone could reach out to Xbox Support to investigate and resolve this issue as soon as possible, as it is impacting my ability to create and save gaming content.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you all soon with a solution.
