Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
You can't remote install to a specific storage device. Only to the internal. If that's what you're trying to 'test'
yes
no one can help if you don't just say what the question is
I forgot about that
So I need someone with an expansion card like segate or wd and also has the xbox app and test if the xbox app registers if you have extra storage then remove the card and see if the app still registers the extra storage or reverts to the original consoles storage
remote install/storage management only tracks internal
And the storage cards I listed are internal storage cards so whats ur point
expansion cards are not internal. The internal storage refers to the hard drive INSIDE the console. Not one you can remove at will.
No it doesn't because my xbox tracks the internal expansion card that I have plugged into my system
On the xbox app
Again, expansion card and internal hard drive are two entirely different things.
Internal hard-drive you know what I mean
Wait it's called a storage expansion card
So is nobody gonna test it out for me
