#Controller Wont Work

Ive tried 2 controllers 5 wires 7 ports a pc a xbox nothing is working and im so confused my problem is my controller is immediately switching off and vibrating every time i wire it to my pc or xbox it works fine with batteries and bluetooth but it just wont work when it comes to me wiring into my pc ive checked it for updates it has none ive updated all the drivers on device manager ive troubelshooted it to the best of my ability and nothing works ive been trying for around 4 hours and cant seem to get anywhere so i though id ask on here is it my controller thats broke or something else

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

Your cables might be power only (for charging). You need a data cable if want to connect wired.
