Hi this has happen for the probably 5th maybe more time now I'm not entirely sure of the problem hence I'm asking for help now. If the power goes out for too long or the xbox gets unplugged then it will stay on the xbox screen for awhile (20 mins to maybe 60 mins I don't completely time it.) Then goes to troubleshooting screen from there usually I am able to go to the reset option then keep games and so fourth with logging in again. This time it's gone on the xbox logo for maybe 10-15 mins (not very long) then to troubleshooting screen and I did click the keep games button and the xbox did make the on-off sound but still the troubleshooting stayed on screen. (Xbox controller went off too which is normal when it's reset or turned off.) I have turned back on the controller to try and click the option again yet it doesn't move on the screen.
Any advice?
#xbox won't load up then troubleshooting menu comes up

Was reading part of that, is it possible the charging station for my controllers might've caused a problem? As I believe each and every time it's happened that was plugged into the xbox
When I did the system update it was fine to my knowledge and completed without any problems. I have tried what it says on the link also and googled my error code says to do a reset which I've done every time but I would prefer this didn't happen
try the offline update and yes unplug anything from usb
I have no idea how to do offline update and don't have a USB stick to do so. I'm setting it back up again and will check for updates on WiFi. It's probably gonna do this again though either in the next week or month. If I don't use it for more then like 3 days ish(would have to look into how long) this happens aswell. Mightve been the heat tho idrk
Read the link the infomation is all on there and the things too try read it fully and carefully
I don't belive I have a USB flash drive tho if this doesn't work will have to ask my family if they have one, I have a big sd card thing tho whatever that things called
Looks like it's possibly happened again and the update last time was successful.
okay so have you got a flash drive and done the above, This is what you need to do what's on the page the other option is a factory reset. . If that has not helped then the page explains the console needs to be repaired. There isnt anything else we can tell you its all on that page
you just need to follow the steps
I did read that page and no I don't have a flash drive, this month I've reset it twice this year probably 5 ish times now. So I guess it is the xbox even our xbox that's older then mine doesn't do this and I haven't even plugged anything back into it
I guess just keep resetting the thing.
then I guess you need to buy one or brow one from a friend. The way i see it there is 3 things
- do a factory reset
- Try the OSU update
- send the console for repair or buy a new one.
