I keep on trying to download rdr2 but no matter what I do it’s keeps saying instillation stopped

Oof yeah then this is a problem i have had with my Xbox aswell with many games. It happened recently trying to install FH3. a good workaround for this is to Download the game via Xbox App on phone and then after that insert the disc of the game, then it should work

Ima tell you the cycle it keeps doing
So I put the second disk in it went to like 18 percent then I put the 1 disk now it’s at 54 Gb and now it won’t go any ferther

Sounds simmilar to what happened with me installing horizon 3, where it would stop, continue, stop and so on. As i said before, you should try first installing via the xbox app and then put in the disc

How do I install it on the app

go to the search part, choose games, search for Red Dead Redemption 2, and then press Download To Console. then press on Download To Console. then iirc it asks you where you want to install, press your console, then select install on this console. then it should start installing
Tho there might be a bit more to this with RDR2 due to it being 2 discs and the story mode and mp being diffrent downloads thing
