Xbox app never working.

Ive had a problem with the xbox app on the pc never letting me sign in- Ive tried nearly everything any site or xbox support team has told me to do.. Ive tried the basic crap such as restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, signing out, system updates, and using a different account.. Ive even tried going into the services settings and trying to change things in there, obviously to no avail. Its been doing this for- quite a long time now, coming up on 3 years... (Id send screenshots but it wont let me for some reason.)

windows 10, the computer im currently using its strong enough to upgrade to windows 11, but im getting and upgrade here shortly

Please update your computer to windows 11 or at least a more modern version of windows 10

Wait actually i have a better

Idea what does your xbox app show up as word for word

Does it just say “Xbox” or “Xbox Companion”

I had to swap over to the xbox app, im pretty sure the xbox companion got discontinued

but for the longest time i used the companion

Ok search for xbox

Right click it

And press view file location and send me a screenshot of what you get via dm
