#Xbox One not letting me add account

Im trying to add a new account to my xbox, and when I enter in the email, it tells me to enter a code to microsoft.com/link

This issue with this is, when I enter the code, it sends me to the microsoft website, but it does NOT add the account to my xbox.

Ive tried all the options in the sign in section, they all lead to this.

If you guys arent sure how to fix this, could you point me in a direction of any other way to add the account to my xbox, that doesnt involve signing into it from the xbox itself

So I found a way to link my xbox account to my xbox, but now it shows up as a blank pfp account with its name just being the email, and when i try to sign in with it, it trys getting me to sign in again (which isnt working)

I tried logging into another xbox account on my xbox which worked fine, Im now wondering if this issue could be because the account in trying to log into is a new account,

it is very difficult to troubleshoot issues via chat when someone has multiple accounts, especially if they linking process is failing.

your best bet when encountering account issues is to contact official support

if the game disc is broken then resetting your console isn't going to fix it

but yes, when you do a factory reset you have the option to save your games

btw ive already set up a gamertag and picture on the mobile xbox app already

or when i try to switch signed in accounts

my profile shows properly in the family section of the settings, but when I click "add to this xbox" it adds the account with something but an email

I have that problem on my family accounts I just never had an issue with it

Think the email thing has to do with u being on a family account

Does this Gmail show as a username in any game?

Yeah strange I never ran into that kind of problem

It shows my email everytime I start up my xbox or look at my account in settings or even shows it in the corner on the homescreen

but when I do that, nothing happens
