#Hotspot won’t work on xbox series x

i tried doing it last night and it worked, but this morning it wouldn’t work, i tried to connect my other phones hotspot to it but it wouldn’t work either, it says it’s connected to it but it still says connect to the internet, is this a xbox problem?

i also tried restarting my phone and xbox, it wouldn’t work.

Many cell phone providers block certain ports and connections they know will use a ton of data.

The Xbox does not know you’re on a phone so any connectivity issues would be related to your phone/provider not the Xbox.

If your phone provider is blocking Xbox traffic you can’t get around that.

If your phone itself isn’t set up to share right then that might be something you could change. Or maybe not. Depends on your phone
