#Xbox controller won’t stay connected to Series S (Even with USB)

Hey guys, first time Xbox user here. So I recently just bought a Series S and I’ve yet been able to even play for 1 hour whilst owning the console for 1 week. I bought the console refurbished and it’s practically unusable. Can anybody help me out here please? I checked all over YouTube and I’ve yet to find a solution. I tried unplugging, resetting and trying my controller on my phone/laptop (which work flawlessly btw) but nothing works.

Here are my concerns:

  1. the Xbox logo doesn’t blink when I press the sync button, when I do try to put the Xbox into safe mode which includes holding down the sync button, the console goes into safe mode no problem.
  2. the controller disconnects from the console after using it for roughly about 5 mins (either wired or wireless). For the controller to work again I have to unplug the console for about 15 minutes and then the controller connects back for the same 5 minutes and does the same thing again

& please guys don’t suggest returning the console, I’m from a third world country and to return it would be as expensive as buying another. So please just give me some help here so I would be able to use the console

If the console needs repairing then it will need repairing / returning.
However there is a few things you can try
1)Have you made sure the controller is Updated in the accessories app
2) is the console updated Settings System
3) Have you tried to factory reset the console settings System and preform a factory reset.
4) Have you tried replacing the batteries in the controller

Is there anything I could fix? Any specific board you would seem to know that’s giving trouble?
