For whatever reason my wifi connection is worse on my xbox than any other electronic, ik it's not because of it being far from the router cause I had the same issue when router was beside it, how do I fix this?

You can get Cat5 cables for pretty cheap, and they'll work just fine.
Cat5/Cat5e is more or less the baseline nowadays, I don't even know if they make 3 or 4s anymore. That's what I'd recommend if you have up to gigabit internet. If you have more than gigabit internet, I'd recommend going with Cat6.
Checking Amazon, it seems like Cat6 is more common, and you can get 50 feet for the prices you said.
