So I ran into an issue that I can't find any official Xbox support troubleshooting on, but the on screen keyboard just suddenly disappeared. Now I have to use the microsoft.com/link setup to do any sign-in, but can't search for games and DLCs, nor can I search within games (FS22 modhub for example), or reset the WiFi on the console as I need the keyboard to enter the WiFi password. Anything helps at this point. It's getting very annoying doing literally everything manually now.

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

That shouldn’t be possible… have you tried a hard reset? (Hold down the power button on the console for ten seconds).

The keyboard is hosted in the same app as the power menu, are you able to see that?
