#USB port is dodgy

One of the USB ports on the back of my Xbox One S seems to not work. When I plug my controller cable into it, it just doesn't turn on, whe. I plug my keyboard/mouse into the same port, their RGB lights turn on, but they also don't work. I'm not sure what to try to fix this, the only bandaid solution I can think of is buying a wireless controller to replace my current controller, which is exclusively wired. I need my controller, keyboard and mouse all connected to my Xbox at one time so I can play fortnite, which I love dearly. Help

A USB hub is like an extension socket for USB devices. You plug it into one of your working ports and it will give you a bunch more. The number of ports will vary depending on the hub you buy.
