I'm having an issue where I can't add a card to my 360. It automatically added my old card and I can't update it to my new one. Error code 8C250005. I tried following the steps on the support page and that didn't work.

Are you trying to do this through an Xbox 360 console or via the web site?

I deleted and readded my card on Microsoft and it isn't showing up.

okay, only use the website, the 360 store is old and dying.

If the actual website is not letting you add/remove cards you'll need to contact official support for help with that becuase it sounds like an account/billing problem

I'm gonna try deleting my profile from my 360 and logging in again from scratch.

if the website itself isn't letting you edit your billing info that's a bigger problem than what re-downloading to your 360 would be able to fix though i think

Yeah, that didn't work. Wonder how my info got added the first time. Really annoyed it was the wrong card.

I contacted a nice person from support. He said it just takes time to process for 360 and doesn't get added immediately like newer consoles. I think adding a card from the 360 itself flat out doesn't work anymore.

i'd believe that... the 360 console store is closing down in the next couple months - after which you can only purchase 360-related stuff from a web browser on your computer

I usually just get the gift cards from Amazon and use those on the 360 store while it’s still up.
