i just bought a new xbox controller it keeps disconnecting from my pc

the controller connects and everything works fine for a min

then it randomly disconnects

If its new u may need to update firmware.

My pc could connect to my starfield wireless controller. I had to get a xbox wireless adapter to connect my wireless headset to my pc. My headset only works with xbox wireless without an adapter
