#xbox live on the 360 not working

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
Xbox 360 live services are old and most likely running on overall older systems, such is not easy to maintain to a 100% especially when it's a 3 generation old service. If issues arise usually it could work later that day or if you keep trying for example, but there is also tons of other steps you can try that are on google for example

what the "cant connect" issue has been going on for years?

there will always be some people having it not dependent on their connection, but sometimes there is waves where more people seem to have issues
funny to mention
whenever i turned off "recurring billing" the connection would come back

just checked and xbox live works on my actual xbox 360
Yeah it is like completely random, but some stuff can impact it like recurring billing
I’ve had that happen a few times, seems to be an authentication bug with recurring billing setting on the account but turning it on or off fixes it for a while but comes back eventually. Not sure what causes it to begin with
Did you manage to get this working in the end? im getting the same issue, When playing on the 360 no issues whatsoever but when playing via bc it just refuses to connect 😂
