I was copying the game

I have even used chmod 777 -R on xbox folder using Linux

So I tried to take ownership using Linux because windows failed it said 1 file failled

Reboot the PC.

If the game is on an external drive, disconnect and reconnect it.

If that doesn't work, delete and reinstall the game.

there is no telling what damage you've done to your windows install by attempting to manipulate while running a different operating system to run irrelevant commands.

If this is an external drive, it coudl be dying. You should get a new one if reformatting it doesn't help

If this is the internal drive, well it could be dying too of course.

You can always try to reset your WIndows

Error code 0x80070005 means Access denied and it usually occurs because of lack of permissions. ?, WHAT THE HELL

As you indicated above, you've done all kinds of mess to your drive between Windows and Linux, there's no telling what messed up state your drive is in.

It's not gaming runtime services that's broken, you broke your drive and we can't figure out what you did to recover from it.

Changing permissions, changing ownership, messing with it under linux, ALL OF THAT IS MANIPULATING THE DRIVE IN WAYS IT WASN'T INTENDED TO BE DONE

And if you screw up the files that are needed to run the game and mess them up, it's your fault, not ours. The permissions are locked down to prevent the end user (IE: YOU) from screwing them up.
