Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

First off are you playing on xcloud, if so make your headphones supports xbox if it does, make sure it is plugged into the controller, depending on headset you may need a adapter which usually comes free if if supports pc and console. This is because it probably uses the controller I think.

If you aren't on xcloud, make sure your mic settings are enabled on xbox/windows, make sure your headset/mic are connected to the correct ports
note if you only have a headphone jack and no separate mic set, then you are out of luck with most modern headphones. And you are going to have to be micless.

If you are not on xcloud(or if you have it set up with adapter/xbox mic), you have windows/xbox settings set up, game settings and party settings allow voice chat, and you have proper headphone connections. Then my best guess is to try asking your friends to do the same as all of them have issues or have accidently muted you(and you did the same in return unless muting someone deafens them from hearing them)
