I've been an avid player on Xbox for many years now and pit my blood sweat and tears and money into getting all my achievements and gamerscore and purchasing games. A problem I've been having for years is: It's all under my fathers Microsoft Account. He made my Xbox Profile since I have been a tiny tot and have been using it ever since. Now I'm a full grown man with a beard and chest hair and still using my Xbox Account under my fathers Microsoft account. Is there any possible way to transfer my entire Xbox Profile along with all my purchases and achievements to MY Microsoft account? I've heard you were able to do this back in Xbox 360, even Xbox One era. Let me know. Thanks!

There is no 'xbox account' and 'microsoft account'
There is a Microsoft Account.
The Microsoft Account includes office 365, azure, linkedin, onedrive, xbox, skype, umm and probably other things.
Since there is not 'xbox account' you can't 'transfer it'

I see, that's very unfortunate.
It's something Microsoft has to implement, because there's tons of other people who are in the same situation I'm in.

they don't need to implement that, becuase 1:1 identity is a foundamental aspect of having an online identity.
also it would facilitate account sharing, account selling, fraud, etc

Right, but there has to be exceptions, especially when I'm related to the account owner.
