#Xbox 1S problems

I’m not exactly sure how to describe it. Basically, a few months back my Xbox 1S was being temperamental with error messages on boot up. Usually these would be resolved pretty quickly though.

However, towards the end of when I was using it the same error message came up and there seemed no way to fix it. If I remember correctly, it was E-106.

I did LOTS of research into what could cause it, and ultimately ended up giving up and it’s sat on my shelf for about the last 4 months.

However, just recently my Xbox 360 which I was using as an alternative (I prefer the older games) got the red ring of death so I decided to give the 1S a try again.

This time, nothing even displays on the screen. The power turns on, the fan goes, and basically nothing. My HDMI senses a signal but nothing is displayed. I’ve tried to do the offline system update as well but that went to no avail. Chances are I’m gonna have to take it in to get fixed, I’m just wondering if anybody here could maybe diagnose the issue or (better yet) tell me how I could fix it so I’m not spending money. Thanks!

Hello there, did you search what the error code was on Edge? The error code could mean that there might be something wrong with the system. Whenever you have gotten the RROD, you were eligible to give Microsoft your console and they would give you a brand new one for free since there was an overheating problem with the console.
