i can't record anything on my external usb

“Doesn’t work help” is not enough for us to go on. Explain the issue, what you’ve tried, etc

Have you tried different cables have you tried a different drive does it work with internal is there an error message etc

no it just stops whenever i try to record, ive tried uninstalling stuff from my xbox ssd hearing it uses it to record the clips and then sends it over to the usb

tried restarting, nothing

i can record when i switch over to internal but switching back over to external nothing happens

never had this issue before and the only fix i found on youtube was freeing up space on the internal drive which didn't help

the usb is recognised so shouldn't be an issue with it itself

so, to anyone having this issue, seems like your last resort would be to move every file from the USB over to your pc so you don't lose your files and re-format the drive, this worked for me and didn't need to restart or anything just plugged the USB back in

and don't rely on help from here :)
