#Question regarding the game cases for the Series X

I’m looking into getting Elden ring for my Series X, but on the case it says “Series X and Xbox One” if I get this one will it have the next gen version or how does it work? I’m sorry if this is a dumb question it’s my first time buy a physical game for my Series X.

if it says XBox One and XBox Series X/S, it's the right one and will work.

if the game is smart delivery and Elden ring is then you just get the version for the console you use it on when you play

There's a handful of titles that are not smart delivery mainly the cod titles and sport titles like fifia were the series version is sold separately
