Set my wife's Xbox as my home Xbox so that she can have access to my Game Pass on her account. It isn't working when she logs in on her account and tries to access Game Pass titles.

Did we miss a step? All I did was set her Xbox as my account's home Xbox.

if you just cancelled it soemtimes things might be wonky for a few minutes. at least when people first buy game pass it can take a bit of time for it to be recognized
I assume you've rebooted the console ?
haev you logged in to it and launched a game pass game on it?

if u want ur library to be on her xbox then u need to set ur acct as home console on her xbox

Sounds like it's a wording issue, cuz how I read it is "set my wifes xbox as home xbox on my account." which is right...isn't it?

I set MY WIFE'S XBOX as MY ACCOUNT'S Home Xbox. I was told that was how it needed to be done to share my Game Pass with her.

It is, he was reading it wrong, so thought you'd done it wrong.

Now, just to clarify, is she trying to play via cloud or installed games? Cloud is not shareable, hence the clarification.

Update

She got it working after I signed my account in on her Xbox. Does this mean we can't play GP games simultaneously since accounts cannot be logged in on two consoles at the same time?

You should be able to sign out of your account now. Me and my mom have to do that too, and her signing me out after the fact works.

on your account, double check that home xbox is checked on her xbox.
